As I keep getting older, my mind gets wiser. Every day is a battle for me. I have so much ambition to do the right thing. I have so many goals that I will accomplish. I have so much potential to go along with it.

 I want to better myself in all the things that I do. I will be what I want just to become someone that people claim I can’t be. I will be what I want, just wait and you’ll see. I am equal to everyone. The only difference is my personality, my clothes, my humor, and my name, but me as a person, that will always be the same. Life is a way of living, so choose the right path.

Glendaliz Vega is 20 years old and has a 2 year old daughter.  She has lived in Worcester since age 5. She is not currently employed because she is enrolled in the Young Parents Program at Mass. Job Training for the past 6 months studying for the GED exam. "My future goals are to pass the GED exam, enroll in college, and enter into a field that interests me. From there, I’ll take it one step at a time.  The one thing I keep with me at all times is determination."
