 I have a lot of important things and people
to talk about, but I choose one of my brothers to talk about.
My brother’s name is Luciano. He is younger
than me, but he is taller. I can’t imagine him like that because when I
came to this country he was just a kid. Sometimes he asks me if I know
how to speak English and I tell him that I’m learning. I love my
brother. I will teach him good things and I will see him in the future
like a real man.
Last week I was talking with him about study
and work. I asked him if he wanted to study first and told him that
study is more important than work. He agreed with me and said that he
would study next year. I asked him what he wants to study and he
answered that he wants to be a dentist. I said that was a good idea. I
know that it is a five-year career, but I also know that five years pass
very quickly. Maybe in five years my brother will treat my kids. During
the conversation I asked him if he is going to church and he said yes. I
told him, “Do what you have to do, but never forget God in your life.”
